Our professional staff and volunteer speakers are available to provide information to your church group, service organization, social service agency, or educational facility, free of charge.
The range of topics that can be addressed by our speakers include: History and Philosophy of Hospice, The Volunteer’s Role in Hospice Care, The Caregiver’s Role in Hospice Care, Taking Care of the Caregiver, Grief Programs for Children, Grief — How It Affects Children — How It Affects Adults, How to Get through the Holidays, The Importance of Advance Directives, How to Help a Friend who Is Grieving, and How to Help a Child Who is Grieving.
We also have an informational exhibit that we take to health fairs and conferences. To find out more about having a speaker for your group, or having us be part of your meeting or conference, please call us at 815-398-0500.
